Pallet is building AI Agents to transform the physical economy—a $12 trillion global industry. The company has raised $50M from top investors including General Catalyst, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Bain Capital Ventures, achieving 700% revenue growth in under two years. Pallet's mission is to increase supply chain efficiency by automating manual workflows through its flagship platform and newest product, CoPallet, which uses AI Agents to understand and execute requests in real time.
This role sits in the Office of the CEO and owns the business value case for strategic enterprise accounts. You will build financial models, run customer conversations, and stay engaged with accounts through the entire change program and deployment cycle. Day-to-day collaboration includes work with the CEO Sushanth Raman, the office of the CEO team, sales, and agent product management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the value case for strategic accounts: selecting drivers, sizing the prize, and defending assumptions in front of customer executives
- Building robust financial models with scenario logic, layered assumptions, and open/closed-book analysis that withstand scrutiny from CFOs and senior leaders
- Growing existing accounts by identifying and proving the next tranche of value to convert six-month engagements into multi-year partnerships
- Serving as the go-to resource when accounts face challenges: diagnosing root causes, running genuine transformation programs, and providing evidence-based solutions
- Carrying accounts from initial business case through realized ROI, managing both the change program and commercial conversations
- Owning emerging work areas such as contracting, partnerships, deal desk, and sales operations—establishing how Pallet executes these functions
The role is intense: five days per week in the San Francisco office with 60+ hour weeks and customer calls on short notice. This is for someone leaving consulting because they want to own outcomes, not for someone seeking better hours. You work directly with the CEO with no bureaucratic layers. The scope compounds early—what you build becomes the standard rather than a slide in someone else's presentation.
Pallet focuses on unglamorous but real problems: freight brokers, 3PLs, carriers, messy TMS and ERP data, and operators who have experienced failed automation pilots. The company applies AI to an industry with genuine operational depth.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years in management consulting, PE operations, or a value creation/transformation team
- Advanced Excel modeling: scenario logic, assumption layering, open- and closed-book analysis
- Demonstrated ability to build business cases in segments new to you
- Direct ownership of an account through a change program (not advisory-only work)
- Executive communication skills: ability to hold a room and defend numbers under pressure
- Nice to have: logistics or supply chain exposure, startup operating experience, hands-on AI use
