As a Business Value Consultant, you will help enterprise customers quantify the economic impact of better software delivery. You'll lead Business Value Assessments (BVAs) with prospective and existing customers, discovering operational pain points and translating them into measurable value drivers: developer time, PR throughput, review-cycle time, defect prevention, and engineering efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting BVAs with enterprise customers to uncover business impact
- Building tailored ROI and TCO models using customer-validated assumptions and CodeRabbit usage data
- Developing executive-ready value narratives, presentations, and business cases that support buying decisions, expansions, and renewals
- Partnering with Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, and Customer Success teams on discovery, proof-of-concepts, executive business reviews, and account planning
- Establishing a repeatable value-selling methodology, including templates, benchmarks, calculators, and field enablement
- Translating complex technical and operational challenges into clear financial business cases for C-suite stakeholders
You'll work in a fast-moving, well-funded startup environment where you'll build the playbook as you go, establishing CodeRabbit's value-selling framework from the ground up.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in value consulting, strategic finance, sales engineering, management consulting, or enterprise SaaS go-to-market
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; ability to make complex analysis simple and credible for executives
- Excellent discovery and executive communication skills
- Experience working with technical buyers, ideally in engineering, developer productivity, DevOps, or security domains
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment and building processes and playbooks as needed
