Resonate is seeking a Business Systems Manager to own and operate a sophisticated business systems stack centered on Salesforce Sales Cloud. This is a hands-on, full-stack role with genuine autonomy: you will manage Salesforce administration, configuration, and automation daily, while also maintaining and extending a broader ecosystem of connected tools including Power BI, ChurnZero, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, DocuSign, Pardot, and Datorama. You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of system enhancements and integration projects—from initial stakeholder conversations through scoping, prioritization, build, testing, rollout, and documentation. The role splits roughly 80% project work and 20% day-to-day support. You will partner directly with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success teams to understand the business problem behind each request and design solutions accordingly. A key part of the job is translating between technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring requirements are clear to technical partners and technical constraints are understandable to business stakeholders. You will also own data integrity, data quality, and documentation across connected systems, refactor legacy automation to reduce technical debt, and manage user access, security, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and role hierarchy in Salesforce. This is a standalone role with no dedicated PM support, so strong project management instincts and the ability to bring structure to loosely defined problems are essential. Resonate is a remote-first company headquartered in Reston, VA, with offices in New York City and Washington, D.C. The role offers genuine flexibility and minimal travel. **Requirements:** - 5–8 years of hands-on experience administering and configuring Salesforce in a growing organization, including Flow and process automation - Demonstrated experience supporting a broader business systems stack beyond Salesforce (reporting tools, sales engagement, e-signature, marketing, or data platforms) - Track record of owning a business systems function largely independently, with good judgment about what to resolve yourself versus escalate - Strong project management instincts: ability to scope, sequence, and deliver multi-step initiatives without a dedicated PM - Ability to bring structure to loosely defined problems without over-engineering solutions - Communication skills that work for both technical and non-technical audiences **Strong signals (nice-to-have):** - Salesforce CPQ experience - Power BI or Tableau at the level of maintaining and extending reporting - SQL and Git or version control experience - Account Engagement (Pardot), Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama), or Accounting Seed - Jira and Confluence - Experience at a smaller or mid-sized company with broad ownership of a systems stack
