Salary: USD 180,000 - 220,000 / annual
Decagon is a conversational AI platform enabling enterprises like Avis, Block, Chime, and Oura Health to deploy AI agents across customer support and operations. The company is backed by a16z, Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, Coatue, and Index Ventures.
This role owns the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of Decagon's ERP and broader systems ecosystem including Ramp, Navan, TeamOhana, Aleph, and Variabl. You will drive the full systems development lifecycle while partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, People, Legal, and Engineering stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and scaling the company's business systems ecosystem, including ERP configuration, integrations, access governance, data integrity, and optimization
- Designing and maintaining end-to-end processes across the financial and operational lifecycle, closing gaps between upstream tools and the ERP
- Identifying operational bottlenecks across Finance, Accounting, People, and Legal, and deploying automated or AI-powered solutions to reduce manual work and error
- Leading rollouts of new tools, features, and system upgrades with training, user acceptance testing, and business continuity protection
- Translating business requirements into scalable system solutions and communicating impact (time saved, cost reduced, errors eliminated) to leadership
You bring 6+ years of hands-on experience administering business systems (ERP, HRIS, spend, travel platforms) and deep expertise in end-to-end finance/accounting workflows (AP, AR, GL, month-end close, consolidations). You have hands-on experience with AI-native tools and have used them to automate real workflows—you're already shipping solutions with Claude, Claude Code, or Cursor, not just experimenting. You navigate build vs. buy decisions confidently and align system architecture with business priorities through strong cross-functional collaboration. You independently drive complex projects under ambiguity and deliver results without formal authority.
Bonus experience includes leading AI transformation initiatives in G&A or back-office functions and a product mindset where you build automations people actually adopt and love.
