Salary: USD 70,000 - 110,000 / annual
Veeva Systems, a $3B+ revenue public benefit corporation and industry cloud pioneer in life sciences, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to drive improvements in Finance and Accounting processes and technologies. This role serves as a Subject Matter Expert for financial systems, particularly ERP and Revenue Management applications, working closely with the internal Finance team.
Key responsibilities include capturing business requirements and context for financial system improvements; developing detailed business, user, process, and system requirements (functional and non-functional) aligned with business vision; facilitating discovery sessions and workshops to map current and future-state workflows; leading full development lifecycle activities including design, development, testing, and deployment; researching and resolving high-priority application issues; providing technical and functional expertise across financial systems; developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation; coordinating with integration teams to ensure efficient communication between mission-critical applications; and building expertise among team members through coaching and mentoring.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience); 5+ years of consulting or business analyst experience with implementation or hands-on administration of NetSuite ERP/Financial Systems platforms and Revenue Accounting; understanding of business accounting and financial processes; commitment to excellent customer service; and coaching/mentoring capabilities. Knowledge of SOX Audit processes, controls, evidence collection, and audit support is essential.
Preferred qualifications include experience with NetSuite ARM/Zuora RevPro, software or professional services industry background, and familiarity with integration mapping and ETL tools (Dell Boomi, Stitch).
