Saronic Technologies, a leader in autonomous maritime defense systems, is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join the Mission Systems organization. This hybrid role combines traditional business analysis with light Scrum Master responsibilities, focusing on requirements clarity, delivery execution, and cross-functional coordination.
You will partner with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and enterprise technology teams to ensure initiatives are well-defined and delivered without disruption. Key responsibilities include:
• Requirements Elicitation and Documentation: Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows. Ensure requirements are complete, unambiguous, and ready for development.
• Delivery Support and Coordination: Act as a delivery partner to product owners and teams, ensuring scope, dependencies, assumptions, and integration touchpoints are clearly understood and actively managed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Agile and Scrum Support: Support Agile teams by facilitating or assisting with backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to maintain effective sprint execution.
• Backlog Management: Work with product owners to groom and prioritize the backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined, properly sized, and aligned with business and integration objectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key liaison between business and technology teams, including Salesforce, MuleSoft, and collaboration platform teams. Maintain clear communication, manage expectations, and drive alignment.
• Risk and Dependency Management: Identify risks, dependencies, and potential delivery blockers early, particularly across integrated systems, and work to resolve them before they impact delivery.
• Process Improvement: Identify gaps or inefficiencies in requirements definition, delivery coordination, and cross-team collaboration, and recommend practical improvements.
• Documentation and Traceability: Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure traceability from business needs through development, testing, and release.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced working on projects involving enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, MuleSoft, and Slack, without requiring hands-on configuration or development experience in those tools.
Occasional travel (less than 10%) may be required. Flexibility may occasionally be required to support critical milestones or urgent business needs.
