The Business Supervisor serves as the day-to-day client partnership lead, acting as the critical connection between Business Leadership and Program Management. This role is responsible for managing client communication, translating business needs into actionable direction, and ensuring clarity across internal teams.
Key responsibilities include owning day-to-day client relationships and communication across assigned workstreams; leading routine client meetings, status calls, and working sessions; translating client needs and feedback into clear direction for internal teams; partnering with Strategy, Creative, and Business Directors to develop creative briefs; preparing clients for presentations and key decision-making moments; proactively identifying risks and managing client expectations; mentoring junior Business Leadership team members in client communication and relationship management; and partnering with Program Management to ensure alignment between client expectations and delivery plans.
The Business Supervisor operates with guidance while independently managing day-to-day client relationships. The role requires building trusted client partnerships, driving alignment across disciplines, proactively managing expectations, and ensuring every engagement is strategically grounded and executionally sound.
Minimum qualifications include 4+ years of experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, or related client leadership roles; demonstrated ability to build trusted client relationships and manage day-to-day business communications; strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills; excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills; and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Strategy, Creative, Production, and Program Management.
This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days per week in the Brooklyn office with 1 day remote.
