Sunday is building personal robots to help households reclaim time lost to repetitive tasks. The company has spent 18 months building a talented team, securing capital, and validating core technology. They are now scaling and seeking a Business Strategy & Operations Manager to work directly with the Head of Business. In this role, you will lead high-ambiguity, cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact. Key responsibilities include running high-value negotiations around manufacturing, supply chain, infrastructure, and partnerships; supporting company and capital planning through financial modeling and scenario analysis; assisting with investor, board, and external communications; shaping commercialization strategy including pricing and market analysis; and translating CEO and leadership priorities into shipped outcomes. You should bring 4+ years of experience in investing, banking, consulting, or operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates high agency and urgency, defaulting to action without waiting for direction. You are a strategic thinker and fast learner comfortable operating at a high level while also rolling up your sleeves for execution. Experience with large, complex capital transactions and closing high-value agreements is essential. You communicate collaboratively and effectively, and you have genuine passion and informed opinions about robotics and physical AI as a full system (robotics experience not required). Nice-to-have qualifications include exposure to rapidly scaling or inflecting companies, operating experience at deep tech companies (especially building functions from 0→1), and fluency in company planning, market strategy, and unit economics for hardware businesses. This is not a role for someone seeking pure analysis work, wanting a fully pre-defined scope, or preferring to advise from the sidelines rather than own outcomes directly. The scope evolves with company needs, and you'll be expected to identify and drive the next most important business problem.
