Endeavor builds AI-powered software for the building materials distribution market, automating manual quoting, order entry, and pricing processes. You will serve as the primary customer-facing operations and product role, owning end-to-end relationships from initial conversations through deployment and expansion.
Your primary responsibility is to spend significant time on the ground with customers—visiting their facilities, meeting with CFOs, controllers, and materials planners, and translating how AI changes their workflows. You'll run working sessions with finance and operations leaders to map the product against their actual processes (accounts payable, material planning, procurement, close cycles). You'll translate technical and AI concepts into business language (margin, working capital, revenue) for non-technical audiences.
You'll also serve as a bridge between the field and the product team, bringing customer insights back to shape the roadmap and inform product decisions. Travel is significant—up to five days per week, primarily to the Midwest and South.
This is not a traditional sales role. Success comes from building genuine person-to-person relationships, being the clearest thinker in the room, and earning trust through curiosity and intellectual rigor. You'll work with skeptical operators and be comfortable with direct pushback.
Required background: 2–5 years at a management consultancy (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or technology consultancy (Deloitte, Accenture, PwC, KPMG). You must be AI-native—fluent in current tools and concepts, clear-eyed about what's real versus hype. You're intellectually curious about how businesses actually run at the process level, and you lead with genuine connection and people-first communication.
