Hanover Park builds AI systems that power financial operations for sophisticated investment firms, positioning itself as the infrastructure layer for how the world's capital is operated and governed. The company has raised $31M from top-tier investors including Emergence Capital, Susa Ventures, and angel investors from major PE firms (Bain Capital, Clearlake, CD&R, Hellman & Friedman). As Business Operations Lead, you'll report to the Head of Strategy & Operations and own the execution of the company's highest-priority cross-functional initiatives. The core problem you're solving: as Hanover scales from ~60 to ~100 people by year-end, operational complexity is growing faster than the company's ability to track and execute. Too many initiatives lack clear ownership, stall mid-execution, and fall through cracks. Your job is to be the connective tissue that ensures things get done. Key responsibilities include: - Launching special projects end-to-end: scoping, staffing, tracking, and closing - Building visibility into capacity, utilization, and performance for fund accounting and services teams - Converting company priorities into clear owners, deadlines, and execution plans - Running cross-functional follow-through on initiatives spanning product, recruiting, finance, and ops - Resolving operational loose ends before they escalate, knowing when to escalate vs. handle directly - Owning launch readiness and outstanding-item tracking across the business - Owning and evolving the company financial model to drive planning and decision-making - Building internal operating infrastructure: dashboards, trackers, live priority views - Creating accountability loops across functional teams This is a high-trust, high-visibility role with broad exposure to how the company operates and scales. You'll work closely with leadership across all functions. Requirements: - Background in high-intensity, analytical environments: investment banking, private equity, consulting, strategic finance, business operations, or Chief of Staff role at a high-growth company - Ability to context-switch across finance, ops, product, and people without losing focus - Strong financial modeling skills: can build and own models, not just read them - High ownership mentality: proactively catch things at risk of falling through cracks - Comfort operating with incomplete information and tight timelines - Good judgment on when to escalate vs. handle directly Nice to have: - Familiarity with private markets, fund administration, or financial services - Experience building internal operating infrastructure from scratch - Prior exposure to Series A/B company scaling through growth inflection Not a fit if you prefer well-defined, stable job descriptions; need explicit direction on priorities; are more comfortable analyzing than owning resolution; or need 12+ months to ramp into real responsibility.
