Atom is an AI-native premium domain marketplace helping startups and established businesses secure brandable domains and build stronger brands. As Business Development Specialist, you will own the partnership program end-to-end, serving as the single point of accountability for finding, closing, onboarding, and managing partners. This is a hands-on role with significant autonomy and direct impact on business growth.
Key responsibilities include: prospecting and outreach to potential partners; managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through negotiation and closing; leading partner onboarding and coordinating with the technical team on integrations; creating program collateral including templates, pitch decks, and one-pagers; tracking pipeline health and reporting on program performance; and maintaining relationships post-deal to ensure long-term success.
You will spend most of your time on direct partnership activities (prospecting, pitching, negotiating) while also stepping back regularly to shape program strategy and improve processes. You'll collaborate directly with the founder and leadership team, giving you visibility into company strategy and the opportunity to influence how the partnership program evolves.
Required qualifications: 4+ years in business development, partnerships, or full-cycle sales; strong communication and negotiation skills; comfort working with technical teams on integration requirements; and a builder's mindset focused on continuous process improvement. Experience in SaaS, marketplaces, or domain/branding-adjacent industries is a bonus.
This role offers full ownership of a program rather than a slice of someone else's process, direct collaboration with founders and leadership, and room to shape strategy rather than just execute a playbook. The company provides 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance, plus paid time off.
