Corgi Insurance is building an AI-powered, fully automated insurance carrier to rebuild the $1T+ insurance industry from the ground up. As a Business Development Representative focused on Strategic Partnerships, you'll be responsible for building relationships with founders, owners, and senior executives across financial services. Unlike typical entry-level BD roles, you'll have direct access to C-suite decision-makers from day one, creating conversations and opportunities that most professionals at your career stage wouldn't normally encounter. Your primary responsibility is to develop and own a pipeline of strategic partnership opportunities. You'll spend your time on outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and setting meetings with high-level stakeholders. The role emphasizes relationship-building and creating genuine value in conversations rather than simply booking meetings. You'll learn the sales process and partnership development methodology, but success depends on your curiosity, resilience, and ability to earn attention from busy executives. This is a full-time, in-office role based in London with a clear path to advancement. High performers can transition to Account Executive, Account Manager, Operations, or Leadership roles within 2–6 months. Compensation includes a base salary of £40–50k plus an on-target earnings (OTE) of £10–15k+. The role requires 6 days per week in-office presence (Monday–Friday 2pm–10pm UK time, Saturday 11am–2pm for training). Note: working hours are currently US-based but may shift to UK hours by end of 2026 as Corgi expands into Europe. Corgi is well-funded by top-tier investors and operates as a full-stack insurance carrier—underwriting and issuing policies directly rather than acting as a broker. This eliminates intermediaries, reduces friction, and allows for tailored coverage and efficient risk pricing. The company culture emphasizes founder-level ownership, fast execution, and results-driven progression.
