The Nuclear Company is a Series A AI-enabled startup pioneering fleet-scale nuclear reactor deployment. TNC Services, the company's services division, provides field execution, specialized workforce solutions, and professional services across the nuclear industry lifecycle.
The Business Development Representative – Nuclear Security will drive new business growth for TNC's security solutions practice while identifying opportunities across the broader Professional Services portfolio. This hands-on role is responsible for originating and advancing opportunities from initial identification through contract award.
Key responsibilities include:
• Drive new business development across TNC's Professional Services portfolio, with primary focus on nuclear security solutions
• Research customer priorities, emerging threats, industry developments, and market gaps to identify differentiated solution opportunities
• Build relationships with decision-makers, technical stakeholders, government representatives, industry partners, and key influencers
• Develop targeted growth strategies for utilities, government entities, international organizations, and critical infrastructure operators
• Originate, qualify, and advance opportunities from initial identification through contract award
• Partner with functional leaders and technical experts to understand customer needs and shape practical, differentiated solutions
• Develop pursuit strategies, value propositions, win themes, and customer engagement plans
• Coordinate proposals, pricing inputs, presentations, and demonstrations
• Participate in negotiations and transition awarded work to delivery teams
The ideal candidate brings experience in nuclear security, national security, defense, critical infrastructure, or a related field. This person will work closely with TNC's Security functional leader and technical experts to help shape solutions, build market presence, develop partnerships, and grow the qualified pipeline for TNC's Security business.
