Within is a Series B AI company ($91M raised, 7x growth YoY) building AI agents that discover how work actually happens across organizations, structure it into a living Context Graph, and continuously improve operations. Customers include OpenAI, Google, DoorDash, and Stripe. You will be the first dedicated Business Development Representative on Within's Enterprise team, responsible for building and running outbound prospecting motion across a defined book of Enterprise Account Executives. Currently, AEs prospect their own territories, which is the primary constraint on new enterprise logo acquisition. You'll own coverage and speed across multiple patches rather than a single territory. Your target accounts: companies with $500M+ revenue in software, professional services, financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing. You'll identify accounts at the moment they become winnable, reach decision-makers first, and build net-new pipeline. You'll have access to Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Clay, Sales Navigator, a documented ICP, and proven sales process. Key responsibilities: - Build and maintain the target account list for the Enterprise segment ($500M+ revenue floor), tracking which accounts are live, parked, and why - Identify predictive signals: active/imminent ERP, CRM, or HRIS migrations (S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, Workday, Salesforce), post-M&A integration, transformation mandates, or new Finance/Transformation executives in their first 180 days - Proactively reach out to senior executives in Technology, Transformation, GTM, IT, and Finance (Internal Audit and Compliance alone are not viable entry points) - Source process excellence and operations managers who convert 3-5x better than broad campaigns; fill Change Agent Bootcamps - Write outreach copy that CFOs actually read; nearly half of won deals compete against doing nothing, not other vendors - Qualify every meeting to a real bar: confirmed authority, confirmed need, identified use case, discovery call booked with AE - Run account planning with Enterprise AEs and maintain clean handoffs - Help build the function: select sequencing tools, set cadence, write objection handling, feed learnings back to the team Location: San Francisco HQ, in-office four days per week. Outreach is conducted by email and phone from a desk; no customer travel required. Requirements: - 4+ years professional experience, including 2+ years in SDR, BDR, or inside sales role selling SaaS or AI solutions with consistent quota attainment - Prospecting experience into $500M+ enterprise accounts; ability to manage structure across hundreds of accounts and multiple AEs simultaneously - Comfort opening conversations with CFOs, CIOs, and VPs of Transformation in writing and by phone - Strong research skills; personalization means knowing a company is eighteen months into a stalled Oracle Fusion program, not just swapping in a company name - Ability to write short, specific, no-filler copy - Daily use of AI in your own workflow, not just talking about it - Fluency in Salesforce and modern prospecting tools Strong candidates may also have: - Sales experience into finance, transformation, process excellence, or shared services organizations - Track record building or rebuilding outbound motions from scratch - Proficiency with Apollo, Gong, Sales Navigator, Salesforce, or similar tools - Daily use of LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Grok) as part of workflow - Ability to build custom AI agents and skills Within values: history of achievement and quota attainment as a habit; intellectual curiosity about customers and industry; appetite for closing and driving urgency; coachability and ability to improve rapidly; scrappy builder mentality; AI fluency across sales processes; loyalty and resilience; customer obsession with entrepreneurial bias for action; ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple business value stories.
