As a Business Development Representative, you will drive new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting and lead generation. Your primary responsibilities include making outbound calls and sending emails to target accounts, scheduling product demos and meetings for Account Executives, managing inbound leads to maximize conversion, and maintaining accurate activity records in HubSpot. You'll need to understand Fortanix's use cases and competitive positioning to effectively communicate value to prospects and achieve monthly quotas.
The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of BDR experience selling technology solutions to enterprise buyers, with preference for cloud, SaaS, or IT infrastructure backgrounds. You should be tenacious, ambitious, and disciplined with strong written, verbal, and phone communication skills. A passion for technology and selling groundbreaking products in a fast-paced startup environment is essential. Bachelor's degree is preferred but relevant experience is valued.
