The company is revenue-generating, rapidly growing, and backed by Khosla Ventures, Nat Friedman (Android founder), and others. The team is small and talent-dense, comprising competitive programmers, former founders (including the CEO who co-founded a unicorn), and AI researchers from top institutions.
As a Business Development Representative, you will be foundational to Coframe's go-to-market motion. You'll build your own lead lists, represent the company at conferences and events, develop real relationships, and help shape how Coframe shows up in the market. Key responsibilities include:
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound qualification and outbound outreach, identifying target companies, personas, and buying signals
- Proactively build and own target accounts and prospect lists across key verticals
- Execute personalized outbound campaigns via email, LinkedIn, referrals, cold calling, and creative channels to generate qualified meetings
- Test and iterate on experimental marketing, outbound messaging, and GTM motions, using data to continuously improve performance
- Partner closely with Account Executives to develop account strategies and book high-quality meetings
- Act as an ambassador representing Coframe at industry events, conferences, and meetups
- Clearly articulate Coframe's value proposition, identify strong handoffs to AEs, and maintain clean, detailed CRM records
- Develop working knowledge of conversion optimization, growth, and how AI-driven experimentation fits into a modern marketing stack
Requirements:
- Experience in business development, sales, consulting, or another outbound-heavy, customer-facing role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; clear and confident ability to engage senior decision-makers
- Comfort with cold outreach, networking, and live conversations; willingness to travel for conferences and events
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, high level of ownership and resourcefulness, ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Comfortable with cold outreach and prospecting tools
- Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco
Nice to have:
- Experience selling to growth, marketing, product, or CRO/experimentation leaders
- Experience at an early-stage startup or on a small, high-performing GTM team
- Experience prospecting into B2B SaaS or e-commerce organizations
