Airtable is seeking a Business Development Representative to join its EMEA sales team in London. The role combines product-led growth signals with outbound prospecting to generate sales-ready meetings for Account Executives. You will run a hybrid pipeline motion: early in the week, you'll act on product-led signals; for the bulk of your time, you'll focus on outbound prospecting. Your responsibilities include qualifying prospects through calls, emails, and LinkedIn to identify sales-ready opportunities. You'll partner with Account Executives on larger, strategic accounts, helping to shape territory plans and outreach strategies. A key part of the role is building, testing, and iterating on outbound strategies using AI tools to work faster without sacrificing quality. You'll participate in a structured weekly coaching rhythm that includes pipeline and messaging reviews early in the week, followed by skill-building sessions focused on cold calling, qualification, and objection handling. Success in this role requires deeply understanding your customers' day-to-day challenges so you can speak to them with genuine credibility. Airtable's platform combines a relational database, custom applications, automations, and AI to help organizations build applications and workflows without being constrained by off-the-shelf software. The company serves over 500,000 organizations, including 80% of the Fortune 100. The role is based at Airtable's EMEA headquarters in Borough Yards, London, with an expectation of in-office presence. Requirements: - Hardworking, intellectually curious, and coachable; pedigree matters less than these qualities - Grit and comfort with volume and rejection; outbound sales requires daily consistency - Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to tell a story that demonstrates understanding of customer needs and Airtable's relevance - AI fluency or eagerness to develop it quickly; the role uses AI tools throughout the sales motion - Nice to have: fluency in French or German in addition to English (not required)
