Adapt is building an AI agent platform that helps companies build, run, and govern central company agents. The platform connects AI models to systems, data, people, and workflows with persistent memory, secure compute, deep integrations, and enterprise controls.
You will join as an early Business Development Representative, responsible for creating high-quality sales opportunities by identifying and qualifying companies that are strong fits for Adapt. Your success is measured by the quality of opportunities you hand off to Account Executives—not by volume metrics.
Key responsibilities include:
• Account Research & Prioritization: Deep research into target companies' business models, teams, systems, AI posture, workflows, and buying committees before outreach.
• Signal-Led Outreach: Leverage product activity, website intent, hiring signals, funding events, and market trends to identify and reach relevant prospects via email, LinkedIn, communities, and events.
• Early Qualification: Establish the trigger, core problem, likely use case, account fit, initial champion, and clear next steps before handing off to sales.
• Handoff Quality: Provide Account Executives with clear context on engagement history, what matters to the prospect, key stakeholders, and learnings to date.
• Experimentation & Feedback: Test research methods, AI-assisted workflows, messaging, and channels while feeding market patterns and objections back to Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
You will use AI tools deeply for research, signal detection, and personalization, but always with judgment and empathy—treating automation as an enabler, not a replacement for thoughtful outreach. This is an early-stage sales role at a company building infrastructure for enterprise AI.
