FlixTrain is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive strategic initiatives and partnerships that shape the future of customer experience across its growing rail network. In this hands-on role, you will take full ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder projects aimed at improving the onboard experience for passengers. Key Responsibilities: - Support the definition and execution of strategy to become Europe's largest private and most popular long-distance rail operator - Lead strategic projects focused on enhancing customer experience across FlixTrain's fleet - Collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders including operations, partner management, network planning, and business planning teams - Establish and manage project management structures, including timelines and governance formats - Build and implement reporting frameworks with KPI tracking and prepare presentations for senior leadership - Play a central role in transforming the transportation industry to drive long-term company success You will work at the forefront of the rail industry, where customer experience increasingly defines competitive advantage. Your work will directly influence how FlixTrain remains competitive, innovative, and committed to delivering high-quality, memorable journeys for every passenger. Requirements: - Completed degree in Business Administration, Economics & Logistics, or related field - Minimum 3 years of professional experience in management consulting with focus on operations, or managing cross-functional projects in collaboration with multiple external partners (preferably in the rail industry) - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills (including PowerPoint) - Demonstrated success implementing complex projects - Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders - Self-motivated and reliable with drive to continuously improve existing structures - Fluent in English and German (C1 level minimum in both languages)
