Delta Exchange is scaling its institutional partnerships program, which offers sophisticated clients—HNIs, family offices, prop trading desks, small hedge funds, and quant teams—structured trading opportunities on their derivatives platform. You will own the end-to-end growth of this program: sourcing and closing participants, managing relationships through onboarding, and driving measurable P&L impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective institutional participants across India and NRI hubs (Dubai, Singapore, London)
- Pitch the program to quantitatively-minded institutional clients and shepherd deals from initial conversation to signed agreement
- Collaborate with the trading desk to structure commercial terms tailored to each participant
- Work with legal and compliance teams on agreement documentation
- Coordinate onboarding with engineering and trade-operations teams
- Manage ongoing client relationships: monitor activity, fill quality, and satisfaction; identify expansion opportunities; handle escalations
- Represent the platform at trading, crypto, and industry events to build brand awareness
- Feed market intelligence back to product and trading leadership on participant needs, competitive offerings, and program evolution opportunities
This is a hunter role with direct visibility into impact: participant count, allocated flow, and program P&L are all measurable. You will work directly with trading and engineering leadership at one of India's leading crypto derivatives platforms and have exposure to the intersection of exchange operations, market making, and institutional distribution.
Requirements:
- 4–8 years of experience in institutional sales, business development, or client coverage in trading or financial markets (e.g., exchange/broker institutional desks, OTC desks, prime services, market maker partnerships, PMS/AIF distribution, or wealth management covering trading-oriented clients)
- Demonstrable existing network among HNIs, family offices, prop traders, or fund managers in India and/or NRI hubs
- Solid understanding of derivatives, market microstructure, and market-making economics; ability to discuss spreads, fill rates, adverse selection, and risk transfer
- Comfort with quantitative commercial discussions and structuring bespoke deals
- Crypto/digital assets market familiarity strongly preferred; genuine curiosity required
- Self-starter with high autonomy in fast-moving environments; willingness to travel for client meetings and events
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a quantitative field (MBA or CFA a plus)
- NISM or relevant capital-markets certifications a plus
- Fluency in English; additional Indian languages an advantage for regional HNI coverage
