ApplyBoard is seeking a Business Development Manager based in Accra to drive growth within its recruitment partner ecosystem. The role focuses on owning and nurturing a diverse portfolio of recruitment partners, serving as their strategic advocate and trusted advisor throughout the partnership lifecycle—from onboarding through expansion. Key responsibilities include leading relationship management with educational agents and institutions, ensuring enrollment delivery targets are met, and boosting partner engagement and revenue contribution through personalized support, targeted training, and data-driven performance conversations. You'll act as an ambassador for ApplyBoard's mission to simplify international student recruitment, representing the platform's services to educational agents, international institutions, and prospective students. Day-to-day activities involve developing and executing strategies to increase international student enrollment across diverse regions, building and maintaining strong relationships with agents through negotiation and consistent communication, and guiding partners to improve application quality and volume. You'll leverage CRM and social media platforms to share key messages and drive engagement, develop data-driven recruitment strategies informed by market research, and work to expand ApplyBoard's international presence. The role requires high-impact collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams in a fast-paced, autonomous environment. Success means turning partnerships into scalable revenue engines with tangible, measurable wins. Required qualifications include 2-3 years of experience managing recruitment or enterprise accounts, ideally within international education. A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field is preferred. You must be fluent in English, with additional language skills as an asset. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in collaborative, team-based settings, demonstrates excellent organizational and priority-management skills, and is proficient in CRM systems. Experience with social media and digital engagement tools is advantageous.
