AccuRx is a healthcare productivity platform transforming how the NHS delivers care. The company has built an all-in-one digital toolkit used by 98% of GP practices in England, featuring Total Triage for patient demand management, Self-Book for appointment scheduling, Patient Questionnaires for routine care automation, Accumail for cross-setting staff communication, and Accurx Scribe, an AI-powered clinical note-taker.
This Business Development Manager role owns expansion across three distinct UK health systems: Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Each operates independently with separate clinical systems, procurement routes, information governance rules, and digital strategies—creating a genuinely blank-page opportunity to define winning strategies and build repeatable go-to-market approaches.
Key responsibilities include: building pipeline across Scottish and Welsh health boards, clusters, PCNs, GP federations, and HSC Trusts in Northern Ireland; running both high-volume practice-level deals and long, multi-stakeholder board negotiations; winning technical arguments around clinical system integration, APIs, deployment routes, and assurance without relying on engineering support; converting pilots into paid, scaled contracts; using territory data (list sizes, usage, adoption, pipeline) to determine optimal sales paths; and documenting repeatable playbooks per nation for scalability.
You should have a proven track record of closing deals and hitting targets consistently. You're equally credible negotiating quick practice-level closes and twelve-month board negotiations. You're technically fluent—able to understand product integration with surrounding systems, explain it accurately to technical audiences, and maintain credibility in detailed discussions. You treat complexity (clinical systems, interoperability, deployment, information governance) as part of the sale, not someone else's problem. You're a strategic thinker who builds territory plans from scratch, defends your choices, and adapts when conditions shift. You're data-led, comfortable with spreadsheets, CRM, and reporting tools, turning complex information into clear priorities and compelling pitches. You're a self-starter energized by unmapped territory and no established playbook. You're mission-driven by the opportunity to change healthcare communication across three nations.

Hybrid role based in Shoreditch office, 3 days per week with core hours 10am–4pm.
