Brex is seeking a Senior Manager of Business Development to lead the Embedded Finance platform's partnership strategy and execution. This is a full-stack BD role responsible for the entire partnership lifecycle—from sourcing and contracting through product integration and customer activation. You will develop a pipeline of strategic partners (infrastructure and application platforms like Mastercard, Netsuite, Oracle, Coupa) and execute go-to-market strategies to drive nonlinear growth in corporate card spend. The BD team has achieved 200% YoY volume growth in the past year, and embedded finance is now Brex's fastest-growing pillar. Key responsibilities include: - Proactively identify and source net-new partners while expanding existing relationships - Develop acquisition and expansion strategies across new verticals and market segments - Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Sales, and Marketing to launch complex integrations - Navigate ambiguity and take ownership of undefined opportunity areas - Transition activated partnerships to scaled go-to-market execution - Operate with founder-level ownership across strategy, documentation, and impact delivery Engagement models include embedded card integrations, reseller motions, and co-sell relationships. You will structure bespoke embedded payment solutions and develop joint go-to-market plans. The role is based in New York City with a hybrid model requiring a minimum of three coordinated days in office per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday), plus up to four weeks per year of fully remote work. Ideal candidates are ex-founders or high-agency operators with both product and go-to-market instincts, thriving in ambiguity and building zero-to-one initiatives. Requires 6+ years in strategic partnerships, product partnerships, or enterprise sales at high-growth startups, with proven track record of revenue responsibility and full engagement lifecycle ownership.
