Atoms is building Physical AI—real-world robots for industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. The company integrates hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate to deploy and scale robotic systems in real environments. This Business Development Associate role sits on the Enterprise team, focused on selling Atoms Food products and services to major restaurant brands and building long-term strategic partnerships. You will own a defined market segment: identifying target operators, building relationships, running pitches, and closing deals. Key responsibilities include: **Account Strategy & Analysis**: Build deep, structured analyses of enterprise restaurant brands covering unit economics, development pipelines, franchisee vs. corporate mix, delivery penetration, capital position, and competitive exposure. Model opportunities by sizing whitespace by market and quantifying ROIC cases. Work directly with company data (Trino, Salesforce, Otter, delivery marketplace data) and partner with Strategy and Analytics teams. Transform analysis into compelling narratives that drive decision-making. **Pipeline Development & Deal Support**: Own a defined set of enterprise accounts, building investment theses and identifying entry points. Run targeted, research-led outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and industry events. Support multi-stakeholder deal cycles alongside senior sellers, tailoring messaging for development, operations, finance, and franchising stakeholders. Maintain rigorous Salesforce hygiene for accurate pipeline and forecast tracking. **Market & Competitive Intelligence**: Track the enterprise restaurant landscape including development announcements, earnings commentary, franchise system changes, delivery strategy shifts, and competitor moves. Build and maintain account prioritization logic. Bring operator feedback and market signals back to Product, Strategy, and leadership. **Operational Leverage**: Use AI aggressively to compress research, modeling, and reporting cycles. Build reusable analysis templates, models, and dashboards to accelerate team velocity. You'll work with data-driven rigor, turning complex analyses into executive-ready narratives. The role requires comfort with unit economics, financial modeling, and the ability to develop defensible points of view on market opportunities.
