Okta is seeking a ServiceNow ITAM Developer to join the ServiceNow Platform Team in Bengaluru. This role focuses on managing the full lifecycle, compliance, and financial impact of the company's global technology footprint through Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) solutions.
You will serve as the technical subject matter expert, translating complex asset management business processes into technical solutions that identify cost-saving opportunities. The role involves working with a sophisticated ecosystem connecting financial data from Workday and NetSuite, procurement data from Coupa, and endpoint data from JAMF and Intune.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading technical delivery for ServiceNow SAM and HAM, including Content Library, Normalization engines, and Reconciliation processes
- Partnering with business stakeholders to implement automated workflows for license reclamation and cost-avoidance strategies
- Overseeing complex integrations with core systems (Coupa, Okta, JAMF, Intune) to ensure consistent and accurate data flow
- Building and configuring integrations with SaaS connectors (Salesforce, Workday, Adobe) and custom integrations using IntegrationHub
- Maintaining automated workflows for hardware lifecycle following Common Service Data Model (CSDM) best practices
- Implementing HAM Pro features including Hardware Model Normalization, Mobile Asset Tracking, and Asset Inventory Audit workflows
- Managing Cloud Cost Management workflows for AWS and GCP spend visibility and optimization
- Integrating financial data to identify tail spend and shadow IT
- Designing advanced dashboards and Performance Analytics widgets for executive reporting
Required qualifications: 3-5 years as a ServiceNow Developer with at least 2 years focused on SAM and HAM. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required; CIS–SAM or CIS–HAM highly preferred. Strong understanding of ITAM business processes, ServiceNow SAM data model, CMDB and CSDM relationships, and Cloud Cost Management for AWS/GCP. Hands-on experience with SaaS connectors and custom integrations using REST/JSON and IntegrationHub. Technical proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideRecord, Flow Designer, Scheduled Jobs). Familiarity with discovery tools like ServiceNow Discovery, JAMF, and Intune.
