Okta is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Professional Services team, serving as a bridge between customer business objectives and technical implementation for Identity and Access Management (IAM) deployments. You will own the complete requirements lifecycle—from initial discovery and stakeholder alignment through functional design and solution validation—ensuring secure, scalable implementations aligned with customer strategic needs. Key responsibilities include facilitating stakeholder workshops to uncover requirements and map current-state IAM processes; translating business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements with clear process flows and solution design diagrams; owning the requirements traceability matrix to ensure alignment between business goals and technical outcomes; partnering with technical architects to translate requirements into actionable specifications and providing functional oversight during the build phase; and managing transition and hand-off activities including change management, user training documentation, and go-live support. You will bring 5+ years of consulting, analysis, and enterprise project/program delivery experience, with demonstrated understanding of IAM principles, best practices, and applicable customer use cases. Strong analytical rigor is essential—you'll evaluate system feasibility and provide data-backed recommendations on security posture, identity lifecycle efficiency, and scalability. Excellent communication skills are critical to synthesize complex technical specifications for non-technical stakeholders and influence diverse groups toward consensus. You'll demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, organizational discipline across multiple client workstreams in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with standard project documentation templates (BRD, solution design). A bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field is required.
