Robinhood is seeking a Brokerage Operations Specialist to lead first-line operational oversight for its UK brokerage operations. This is a foundational role as Robinhood expands internationally, accountable for operational control execution and service delivery across brokerage processes, including outsourced and intercompany operational dependencies. You will support the launch, improvement, and scaling of Robinhood UK operations, products, tools, and systems. Key responsibilities include owning first-line oversight of UK brokerage operations (transaction reporting controls, transfer operations, outsourced service-provider oversight, and operational risk management); ensuring all daily operations align with FCA CASS (Client Money & Asset) regulations and support good customer outcomes under the FCA Consumer Duty; partnering with cross-functional teams including Brokerage Operations, Compliance, Risk, Customer Experience, Finance, Product, Engineering, and Vendor Management; overseeing and monitoring operational business partner performance against intercompany agreements and SLAs; driving continuous process efficiency improvement using AI and data to reduce operational risk; maintaining operational Standard Operating Procedures; partnering with the Risk & Compliance team to implement required frameworks and controls; leading incident response, root-cause analysis, and control remediation; and fostering a culture of professionalism, high ethical standards, and regulatory compliance. The role is based in the London office with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. QUALIFICATIONS: - Based in the United Kingdom with ability to work in London office at least 3 days per week - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience - 6+ years of operational experience specializing in financial services - Deep experience with UK brokerage operations, CASS rules, and tax wrappers (ISA servicing, transfers, reconciliations, exception handling) - Experience managing outsourced operational partners and holding them to SLAs, controls, reconciliations, and service-quality standards - Experience working across large projects with multiple work streams and coordinating cross-functional teams - Proactive in identifying automation opportunities and using data to prioritize process improvements - Experience applying data analysis to solve business problems - Exceptional attention to detail, collaborative mindset, and strong problem-solving skills - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Self-starter with ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple functional groups - Resourceful and adaptive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments - Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment certifications (preferred) - Passionate about financial services and fintech
