Flock is a UK-based insurtech company transforming fleet insurance through real-time, data-driven risk assessment and connected vehicle technology. The company has raised over £50M and insures hundreds of fleets including Amazon, DPD, Uber, and Bolt, with a mission to become the leading insurance provider for connected and autonomous vehicles. As Broker Development Manager, you'll lead a panel of key strategic broker partners to accelerate Flock's distribution in the commercial motor fleet market. You'll act as the primary Flock contact for your broker partners, driving mutual growth and long-term success while delivering high volumes of broker submissions to support ambitious growth targets. Key responsibilities include: managing and developing a strategic broker panel, onboarding new partners at pace, proactively engaging brokers to promote Flock's appetite and proposition, developing data-driven account growth strategies, achieving strong conversion and retention metrics, collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams, and maintaining strong broker advocacy through visibility and responsiveness. You'll leverage AI throughout your day—from broker research and meeting preparation to pipeline analysis—to maximize time spent on relationship-building rather than administrative tasks. The role requires deep expertise in the commercial insurance broker marketplace, including understanding of competitor carriers, broker business models, and consultative sales processes. The position is based in Central London (near Moorgate/Liverpool Street) with a hybrid model requiring minimum 3 days per week in office, though client and broker visits can substitute for office days. Flock offers 25 days holiday, share incentive plan, pension, private medical insurance, parental leave, professional development support, and various salary sacrifice schemes.
