Flock is an AI-first insurtech company that uses telematics and real-time data to help fleet customers prevent crashes and improve driver safety. Recently acquired by Admiral (May 2026), Flock combines startup agility with the backing of the UK's leading motor insurer.
As Broker Development Manager, you'll lead a panel of key strategic broker partners to accelerate Flock's distribution in the commercial motor fleet market. You'll be the primary face of Flock to your broker partners, driving mutual growth and long-term success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of strategic brokers and delivering high volumes of submissions to support growth targets
- Building and onboarding new broker partners at pace, maximizing their commercial potential
- Developing data-driven account growth strategies and executing them to drive sustained performance
- Proactively engaging brokers to promote Flock's appetite and proposition as the company expands into new sectors
- Supporting day-to-day trading activity and helping brokers win and retain business
- Collaborating across internal teams to deliver shared growth objectives
- Maintaining strong broker advocacy through visibility, responsiveness, and passion for Flock's product and mission
- Leveraging AI daily—from broker research and meeting preparation to pipeline analysis—to focus your time on high-value relationships rather than administrative work
You'll bring a minimum of 5 years managing broker relationships in insurance, with an existing network of broker contacts enabling rapid integration. You need a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, deep understanding of the commercial broker marketplace and competitor carriers, and ability to deliver consultative sales aligned with broker needs. Experience in commercial motor fleet distribution and comfort using AI in daily work are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience building broker networks in the commercial motor fleet space and successfully distributing new technologies to brokers.

The hybrid model requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the Central London office (near Moorgate and Liverpool Street), though client and broker visits can substitute for office days.
