Flock is a data-driven insurance technology company transforming fleet insurance through real-time, connected vehicle data. The company has insured nearly 1 billion connected miles and counts major customers like Amazon, DPD, Uber, and Bolt among its UK fleet clients. With over £50M in funding, Flock is building toward becoming the leading insurance provider for connected and autonomous vehicles. As Broker Development Manager, you'll lead Flock's distribution strategy through a strategic panel of key broker partners. Your primary responsibilities include managing relationships with high-value brokers, driving submission volumes to support aggressive growth targets, and onboarding new partners at pace. You'll develop data-driven account strategies to maximize commercial potential across your panel, proactively identify growth opportunities in new sectors, and serve as Flock's primary point of contact for broker advocacy. The role emphasizes using AI as a core working tool—from broker research and meeting preparation to pipeline analysis—to free up time for high-value relationship conversations. You'll collaborate across Flock's internal teams to align broker needs with the company's connected fleet proposition, helping partners reduce risk, improve costs, and ultimately save lives. You'll bring a minimum of 5 years managing broker relationships in insurance, with an established reputation and active network in the commercial motor fleet space. Essential qualifications include a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, deep understanding of broker business models and the competitive landscape, and comfort delivering consultative sales processes. Experience building broker networks in commercial motor fleet, distributing new technologies to brokers, and familiarity with the UK commercial insurance market are highly valued. Flock operates a hybrid model with a minimum of 3 days per week in the Central London office (near Moorgate/Liverpool Street), though client and broker visits can substitute for office days. The company offers 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, share incentive plan, workplace pension, private medical insurance, enhanced parental leave, and £1,000 annually for professional qualifications.
