Flock is an AI-first insurtech company that uses telematics and real-time data to help fleet customers prevent crashes and reduce road accidents. Recently acquired by Admiral (May 2026), Flock combines startup agility with the backing of the UK's leading motor insurer. As Broker Development Manager, you'll lead a panel of key strategic broker partners to accelerate Flock's distribution in the commercial fleet insurance market. You'll act as the primary face of Flock to your broker partners, driving mutual growth and long-term success. Your core responsibilities include managing a portfolio of brokers, delivering high volumes of submissions to support ambitious growth targets, onboarding new partners, and developing data-driven account strategies to maximize commercial potential. You'll proactively engage brokers to promote Flock's market-leading connected fleet proposition, helping them understand how Flock reduces risk, improves costs, and saves lives. You'll work closely with internal cross-functional teams to achieve shared growth objectives, maintain strong broker advocacy through visibility and responsiveness, and use AI daily—from broker research and meeting preparation to pipeline analysis—to focus your time on high-value relationships rather than administrative tasks. The role requires a minimum of 5 years managing broker relationships in insurance, with an existing network of broker contacts for rapid integration. You'll need proven ability to exceed revenue targets, deep understanding of the commercial broker marketplace and competitor landscape, and consultative sales skills. Experience in Commercial Motor Fleet distribution and broker panel management is preferred. You should be comfortable using AI in daily work and curious about expanding its applications to win business. Flock offers a competitive salary, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Share Incentive Plan, workplace pension, private medical insurance (including dental, optical, and mental health), salary sacrifice schemes, enhanced parental leave, £1,000 toward professional qualifications, £500 annual L&D budget, and 3 days paid leave for learning and development. The hybrid model requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the Central London office (near Moorgate/Liverpool Street), though client and broker visits can substitute for office days.
