Ramp is building smart infrastructure for finance teams, automating how over $200B in annualized spend flows through 70,000+ companies. The company handles payment authorization, risk flagging, spend categorization, and financial close processes.
You will own Ramp's brand partnerships program end to end, from strategy and sourcing through negotiation and execution. Your core responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute Ramp's brand partnerships strategy, identifying and cultivating high-value partners across finance, sports, business, and media sectors.
- Source emerging talent and brands early, building a systematic approach to spotting and tracking emerging opportunities before they become mainstream (similar to Ramp's early sponsorship of Neal Shipley and TBPN).
- Create bold partnership concepts that align with Ramp's brand, product priorities, and marketing campaigns.
- Lead deal strategy and negotiation, managing pricing, asset packages, usage rights, exclusivity, deliverables, timelines, and contract terms.
- Collaborate across Ramp teams to execute campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels, ensuring partnerships deliver both creative impact and measurable business results.
- Manage active partnerships day to day, tracking deliverables and identifying opportunities to expand relationships.
- Partner with Ramp's sales team to identify opportunities where partnerships can support deals.
- Track and report on partnership performance, providing insights and recommendations on renewal, expansion, modification, or termination of partnerships.
The role requires someone who can move fluidly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution, balancing brand authenticity with performance metrics. You'll work in a fast-moving environment where ownership and agency are core values.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, influencer marketing, partnerships, or related roles.
- Proven track record developing, negotiating, and executing high-profile brand, media, or strategic partnerships, ideally within a fast-moving in-house team or agency setting.
- Strong creative judgment with ability to identify culturally relevant ideas and translate them into partnerships and campaigns that earn attention.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, take initiative, and launch new programs quickly from scratch.
- Demonstrated ability to move from strategy to execution quickly, manage complexity, and drive work across multiple teams.
- Strong business acumen and judgment to balance efficiency with bold bets.
- Comfort switching between strategic vision-setting and detailed execution work.
- Strong interest in culture, entertainment, and sports.
