Aviso Wealth is seeking a Bilingual Registered Plans Administrator to join its Operations Team in Toronto. Reporting to the Supervisor of Registered Plans, you will process requests for registered plan products within CIRO (formerly IIROC and MFDA) platforms, ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines and internal service-level agreements.
Key responsibilities include administering registered plan products (RESPs, RRSPs, TFSAs, RIFs, FHSAs) and processing requests such as de-registrations, unlocking, and specialized withdrawals. You will investigate and resolve registered plan inquiries, complete CIRO audits, and collaborate with Tax, Estates, Transfers, New Accounts, and Client Account Maintenance teams. You'll actively participate in Registered Plan Committee Meetings to ensure trustee and regulatory changes are reflected in procedures and manuals, and stay current on CRA, RQ, ESDC, and trustee regulations through ongoing review of legislation and industry bulletins.
Required qualifications include post-secondary education or equivalent experience, 2–3 years in the financial industry (preferably Operations or Registered Plans), and strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. You must be detail-oriented, capable of working independently and under pressure, and proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Knowledge of Dataphile is a plus. Bilingual fluency in English and French is strongly preferred; the role requires conducting business in French and working EST standard hours.
