Brightline, a nationally recognized pediatric mental health provider, is seeking a Community Engagement Lead to drive adoption of BrightLife Kids—a free virtual behavioral health platform for families with children ages 0–12 in LA County. Selected by California from 450+ vendors, BrightLife Kids offers live coaching, personalized resources, peer communities, and local referrals at no cost. In this hybrid role based in LA County, you will operate with significant autonomy to shape program strategy and drive community adoption across complex local ecosystems. You'll identify new opportunities, act as a thought partner to senior external leadership, and engage directly with families and community organizations in the field. Key responsibilities include: • Develop comprehensive outreach and marketing strategies tailored to specific demographics, cultures, and ethnicities of LA County. • Create partnership strategies fostering mutual referrals; build and nurture long-term relationships with county health officials, school district leadership, and community-based organization executives. • Proactively identify service gaps and market opportunities; contribute to design of new engagement assets and tactics. • Lead and participate in high-visibility in-person events, webinars, and school fairs as a respected advocate for child mental well-being. • Leverage research methods and platforms (Google, LinkedIn, school district websites) to identify and engage contacts across diverse stakeholder types—from grassroots groups to executive-level public health boards. • Track key metrics related to outreach, engagement, and conversion; report progress and insights to management using Salesforce as primary CRM. • Continuously gather feedback and identify opportunities for new content and assets to enhance outreach strategies. You'll staff 2–3 evening or weekend events per month, distribute branded materials, conduct webinars, and educate parents about child mental health services. This role requires navigating complex public health and school-based systems, cold outreach, relationship building, and prospect research. REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in community engagement, public health, health promotion, or related field (pediatric mental health or early childhood development knowledge a plus). • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish highly preferred. • Experience navigating public/community health and school-based systems to build programs and gain community adoption. • Proven experience with cold outreach, relationship building, prospect research, and developing high-touch nurture campaigns. • Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM to manage partnership pipelines, track outreach performance, and use data to inform decisions. • Deep understanding of communication strategies and expertise in engaging specific demographics, cultures, and ethnicities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong public speaking confidence and event participation experience. • Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight, managing complex projects with proactive growth mindset and high agility. • Must be based in California with reliable transportation. • Able to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for extended periods (4–6 hours), and staff outdoor in-person events in various weather conditions.
