Finni Health provides infrastructure for BCBAs to start and run independent autism practices, handling credentialing, payer contracting, revenue cycle management, compliance, and software. The company supports 70+ BCBA-led practices across 22+ states and is backed by Y Combinator and General Catalyst. The Clinical Quality Specialist role bridges clinical operations and product development. Initially (3–6 months), the role focuses 30–50% on owning and automating clinical record reviews and audits. This includes: conducting manual record reviews and audit requests; documenting the current process as a living SOP; identifying automation opportunities and partnering with Product/Engineering to build them; and creating an internal dashboard to track review status and gaps. The remaining 50–70% involves clinical projects: developing new clinical resources, professional development and training, maintaining existing processes, and filling gaps identified with the Clinical Success Manager. As audit automation matures, this split shifts toward 90% clinical and clinical operations work. Key responsibilities include: - Owning the record review and audit process end-to-end, translating manual workflows into product requirements - Serving as the clinical voice to Product and Engineering on automation priorities - Developing and rolling out clinical projects from conception through execution and monitoring - Supporting clinicians with treatment planning, complex cases, and clinical decision-making - Building training and professional development resources for BCBAs and RBTs - Monitoring clinical quality, identifying trends in documentation and competency, and driving improvements - Gathering and feeding back clinician feedback on tools and workflows Success milestones: 30 days (understand current process, plan SOP); 60 days (SOP in use, automation opportunities identified, first clinical project underway); 6 months (manual review time reduced, automation in place, dashboard live, meaningful time on clinical initiatives); beyond (audit process largely automated, focus shifts to clinical and operations initiatives). REQUIREMENTS: - BCBA certification with 5+ years of clinical experience - Ideally direct oversight of RBTs and clinical supervision of other BCBAs - Excellent written and verbal communication across internal and external stakeholders - Proven ability to build training, resources, and frameworks; experience empowering independent providers rather than managing employees - Strong clinical judgment grounded in record standards, documentation, and quality - Proficiency in clinical standards, Google Workspace, messaging systems, EHR, dashboard and data analysis - Passion for quality autism care and supporting independent providers - Comfort in fast-paced, fluid environments; ability to own manual processes with the goal of automating them and evolving into broader clinical development
