Credit Benchmark is the leading provider of independent consensus credit risk intelligence, aggregating anonymized credit risk assessments from major financial institutions globally. We are seeking a Banking Relationship Manager to join our New York office and work closely with the Head of Banking Americas to manage and deepen relationships with contributing banks across the U.S. and Canada. In this role, you will own day-to-day coordination, preparation, and follow-through across key banking relationships, enabling senior commercial colleagues to focus on high-value strategic engagement. You will develop a deep understanding of each institution's organizational structure, credit and risk functions, key stakeholders, and priorities. This is a highly visible position in a lean, entrepreneurial environment where you will operate with significant autonomy and make immediate, visible impact. Key responsibilities include managing and developing contributor relationships by working with stakeholders across contributing institutions, leading product demonstrations and training sessions, and prioritizing face-to-face meetings with key contacts (some regional travel expected). You will own execution by coordinating contributor meetings, capturing decisions and actions, tracking initiatives and commitments across the portfolio, and maintaining high-quality relationship records in Salesforce. You will think strategically and commercially by understanding large bank structures and decision-making processes, mapping relevant stakeholders across credit risk, counterparty risk, lending, markets, treasury, data, and technology functions. You will identify new users, use cases, and cross-sell opportunities for Credit Benchmark's products while working with the broader commercial team to pursue them. Additionally, you will connect our banks with Credit Benchmark by coordinating with Commercial, Product, Research, Data, and Operations teams to address contributor questions and requests. You will proactively gather and communicate contributor feedback and market intelligence to relevant internal teams, and represent Credit Benchmark at industry events and conferences. This is not a traditional administrative role. You must understand credit risk well enough to follow substantive conversations with sophisticated credit risk professionals, ask intelligent questions, and communicate credibly with senior banking stakeholders.
