Binance is seeking a Backend Engineer for its Trading platform. You will be responsible for developing and implementing infrastructure to support large-scale trading systems, including underlying infrastructure and architecture upgrades. Your work will involve performance tuning, troubleshooting online incidents, and system refactoring to maintain reliability and efficiency. You will write high-quality, clean, and maintainable code following engineering best practices, and guide junior engineers through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
This is a senior individual contributor role focused on backend systems at scale. You will work on distributed systems that power trading operations, requiring deep expertise in system design, database technologies, and messaging architectures.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
• 10+ years of software development experience, preferably in backend or distributed systems
• Proficient in core Java and familiar with Spring Framework
• Proficient in MySQL and familiar with at least one NoSQL database
• Proficient in distributed system design and familiar with at least one messaging middleware and its underlying design principles
• Capable of handling stress and quickly learning new knowledge
• Strong cross-team communication skills
