Zero Networks is building security infrastructure for operational technology (OT) environments, protecting tens of thousands of OT devices globally. The company manages enterprise switches directly and is modernizing its network integration approach.
As a Backend Engineer on the OT Security Team, you will own the integration layer end-to-end. This includes designing and building backend services that interface with enterprise switches, implementing modern network management protocols, and expanding vendor support across the platform.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop backend services for switch integration and OT device management
- Implement and maintain network management protocol integrations
- Expand platform support for additional switch vendors and hardware
- Own the full lifecycle of integration features from architecture through deployment
- Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure robust OT protection
- Write production-grade code with attention to reliability and performance in critical infrastructure contexts
You should have strong backend engineering fundamentals, experience with network protocols or infrastructure software, and the ability to work on systems that directly impact enterprise security. Understanding of OT/IT security concepts is valuable but not required if you're eager to learn.
