Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, a platform enabling organizations to harness IoT data for actionable insights across physical operations including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing.
As an AV Events Engineer in Samsara's Core IT team, you will own onsite and remote AV event operations technology and processes that enable employees to present effectively. You'll join a small, dynamic AV team and optimize existing subject-matter expertise while supporting high-visibility events for thousands of employees.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate, execute, and broadcast company-wide events such as town halls, earnings calls, and other high-visibility presentations
- Set up, run, and troubleshoot general AV equipment and video conferencing/streaming systems across offices
- Plan and integrate collaboration tools and services for workplace environments
- Manage AV vendor relationships, including contracting, billing, and quality assurance
- Provide technical advice to presenters, leaders, and staff on tech requirements and solutions
- Manage AV configuration across different geographies as the company expands
- Collaborate with internal partners and external vendors across a global organization
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve event execution and AV infrastructure
You must be willing to be in the SF HQ office (1 de Haro) at least 3 days per week (Tuesday–Thursday) to support onsite events and AV infrastructure maintenance. The role requires clear communication with business stakeholders and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure during live events.
