Venti Technologies is building safe-speed autonomous logistics systems for industrial and commercial vehicle deployment. The company has developed proprietary autonomy technologies including logistics algorithms and is currently deployed across Asia with growing customer pipelines. Based in Cambridge (MA), Suzhou (China), and Singapore, Venti is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, integrate, validate, and support electrical systems for autonomous industrial vehicles. In this role, you will own the electrical architecture and integration of 12V/24V systems across autonomous vehicles. Responsibilities include designing and integrating power distribution, DC/DC converters, sensors (cameras, LiDAR, GNSS), compute hardware, routers, and drive-by-wire interfaces. You will develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, harness documentation, and connector pinouts while defining voltage, current, grounding, fuse, wire-size, and protection requirements. You'll integrate and troubleshoot CAN/CAN FD/J1939, Ethernet, and serial communication interfaces, select appropriate connectors, cables, relays, and power supplies, and perform bench testing and vehicle commissioning. Additional responsibilities include investigating electrical failures using diagnostic equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, CAN tools), supporting prototype and production builds, developing and executing comprehensive test plans covering power behavior, electrical transients, communication reliability, temperature, vibration, and environmental conditions, and maintaining BOMs, drawings, and technical documentation. You will collaborate closely with electronics, mechanical, embedded software, autonomous-driving, vehicle-control, manufacturing, and field teams, and provide field support for deployments and issue resolution. QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related discipline - 2–5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience - Strong understanding of DC electrical systems, power distribution, grounding, protection, wiring harnesses, connectors, and electrical interfaces - Practical knowledge of CAN bus and Ethernet-based systems - Experience reading and developing electrical schematics and wiring diagrams - Hands-on experience with electrical test and diagnostic equipment - Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and documentation skills - Ability to work independently in laboratory and vehicle/field environments PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: - Background in automotive, commercial vehicle, robotics, autonomous vehicle, mobile machinery, or industrial equipment - Experience with 12V/24V vehicle electrical architectures and drive-by-wire systems - CAN/CAN FD/J1939 diagnostics and vehicle communication networks - Harness design, connector selection, crimping, routing, and installation practices - EMC, electrical transient, environmental, vibration, or ingress-protection testing - Functional-safety-related hardware or systems - Engineering tools such as KiCad, Altium, EPLAN, or equivalent - Python or other scripting tools for test automation and engineering data analysis
