You will establish and lead a new Automation Infrastructure team as a hands-on technical leader. This role focuses on building frameworks, tools, services, infrastructure, and reporting capabilities that enable QA automation engineers and developers to create, run, debug, monitor, and maintain automated tests efficiently and independently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing the new Automation Infrastructure team and owning its technical vision, architecture, and roadmap
- Designing and building scalable automation infrastructure used across multiple products, teams, environments, repositories, and CI/CD pipelines
- Enabling QA automation engineers and developers with reusable components, templates, tools, dashboards, CI/CD integrations, and best practices
- Improving test execution reliability, reducing flakiness, shortening feedback loops, and increasing confidence in automation results
- Owning automation visibility through KPIs, dashboards, quality metrics, adoption tracking, and stakeholder reporting
- Translating automation data into actionable insights for engineers, developers, product teams, QA leadership, and executives
- Building, mentoring, and growing a team of automation infrastructure engineers
- Driving planning, estimation, tracking, delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement of automation infrastructure initiatives
You will work closely with the QA Architect, automation engineers, development teams, DevOps, products, and engineering leadership to deliver a reliable automation platform using technologies such as Playwright with TypeScript, Python, and Pytest.
