Re:Build Manufacturing is revitalizing America's manufacturing base by operating an advanced, end-to-end manufacturing platform serving aerospace and defense, electrification, medical, energy, and robotics sectors. They are seeking an Automation Engineer to transform manual, disconnected processes into streamlined, data-driven systems.
In this hands-on role, you will design and build automation solutions using Power Automate, RPA, integration platforms, and AI/ML capabilities. You'll analyze business requirements across functional, performance, availability, and security dimensions, then architect and implement solutions that serve operations, engineering, and corporate functions. Key responsibilities include configuring and scripting automation solutions, creating dashboards and visualizations that turn raw data into actionable insights, and ensuring reliability through best practices.
You'll own testing and deployment across Dev/Test/Production environments, implementing monitoring and alerting for all deployed automation. You'll provide Tier 3 support for automation tools and integration workflows, troubleshooting complex issues while maintaining documentation and user guides. The role emphasizes continuous improvement—proactively identifying opportunities to automate and simplify processes while mentoring peers and collaborating across IT and business functions.
You'll also automate repetitive IT tasks using PowerShell, Python, and related scripting methods, with occasional travel to Re:Build locations to support enterprise initiatives. This is a high-impact position blending business analysis, solution architecture, development, and continuous improvement, guided by Re:Build's 16 principles emphasizing collaboration and community contribution.
