Re:Build Manufacturing is revitalizing America's manufacturing base by operating an advanced, end-to-end manufacturing platform for aerospace and defense, electrification, medical, energy, and robotics sectors. They're seeking an Automation Engineer to transform manual, disconnected processes into streamlined, integrated, data-driven systems. In this hands-on role, you will design and build automation solutions using Power Automate, RPA, integration platforms, and AI/ML capabilities. You'll analyze business requirements across functional, performance, availability, and security dimensions, then architect and implement solutions that serve operations, engineering, and corporate functions. Key responsibilities include configuring and scripting automation solutions, creating dashboards and visualizations that turn data into actionable insights, and ensuring reliability through best practices. You'll own testing and deployment across Dev/Test/Production environments, implementing monitoring and alerting for all deployed automation. You'll provide Tier 3 support for automation tools and integration workflows, troubleshooting complex issues while maintaining minimal business disruption. Documentation, user guides, and end-user training are core to the role. The position emphasizes continuous improvement and collaboration—proactively identifying automation opportunities, mentoring peers, and working across IT and business functions. You'll automate repetitive IT tasks using PowerShell, Python, and related scripting methods, and may travel to Re:Build locations to support enterprise initiatives. This is a high-impact role that blends business analysis, solution architecture, development, and continuous improvement, guided by Re:Build's 16 principles focused on collaboration and community contribution.
