Atomic Financial is seeking an Automation Software Engineer to join their team building financial connectivity solutions. The role focuses on developing innovative automation solutions using Node.js, TypeScript, Puppeteer, Temporal, MongoDB, and AWS.
Key responsibilities include researching and accessing APIs to understand their structures and endpoints, reverse-engineering web APIs using tools like Burp Suite and Postman, and writing robust, scalable code to extract and transform data into common data models. You'll design and implement API integrations leveraging deep knowledge of web fundamentals including HTML, DOM, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP/S, and networking protocols.
The role requires applying solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication mechanisms (JWT, SAML, OAuth), and developing solutions to handle bot detection techniques such as request throttling, device fingerprinting, and CAPTCHA mitigation. You'll break down product development into manageable, iterative releases, document findings, and collaborate effectively with development teams.
You'll take ownership throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle, including QA, build, deployment, and production support. The position requires working autonomously while thriving in a team environment, with strong problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
