Salary: USD 65,000 - 75,000 / annual
Vestmark is seeking an Associate Technical Writer to join their documentation team. You will be responsible for producing client-facing and internal documentation across the company's financial software products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Document system features for all products in Online Help and monthly release overviews, coordinating reviews with Product and Engineering teams
- Write client-facing external bug fix (release) notes for monthly releases, coordinating with Engineering and QA teams
- Produce and maintain client upgrade documentation packages for individual client environments, working with the Client Delivery team
- Write and produce the company's internal monthly newsletter
- Provide internal writing support for special projects across the company
You will work with single-source documentation authoring tools and collaborate across multiple teams to ensure accurate, clear documentation for both external clients and internal stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-3 years of experience writing technical documentation for software products
- Experience with single-source documentation authoring tools such as MadCap Flare
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and research skills
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with financial software, fintech, and using AI tools for research (a plus)
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with basic principles of investing
- Familiarity with software development and testing processes
- Familiarity with source control systems and issue-tracking systems such as Jira, GitHub, and Confluence
- Experience scripting and building training videos as needed
