Justworks is a HR and workforce management platform helping businesses streamline HR operations, payroll, benefits, and compliance. The company is expanding its product suite into new verticals including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Contractor Management, and Expenses.
You will join the Expenses pod in Toronto as an Associate Software Engineer, working on the platform that handles expense submissions, approvals, and reimbursements for Justworks customers. You'll be part of a small, focused team of 3-4 senior engineers contributing to a lean, high-impact product.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architecting and delivering foundational solutions in the Expenses domain
- Contributing to the migration from Ruby to Go
- Building AI-powered features for expense management
- Shipping production code with confidence and learning best practices
- Collaborating with senior engineers and engaging directly with customers
You should be self-driven, curious about new technologies, and capable of building and maintaining large-scale applications.
