In this role, you will design, develop, and unit test features for the Forescout eyeSight product, contributing to new functionality and improving customer experience. You'll work closely with senior technical leaders and product management to shape product roadmap and use cases. Collaboration with QA, technical publications, support, and other teams ensures high-quality end-to-end delivery. You'll mentor junior developers and rapidly evaluate emerging security technologies.
This is a hybrid position based in the Plano office, with in-office requirements Tuesday through Thursday. The role requires US citizenship or permanent residency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of industry experience developing software, preferably with Java
- 2+ years delivering production software with experience designing, implementing, testing, documenting, and delivering enterprise-grade software
- Hands-on experience with Java and Python preferred, or a mix of at least two languages including Java, C/C++, Perl, Python, and JavaScript
- Experience with Linux, Windows, and macOS environments (strong Linux preference)
- Networking knowledge including TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, SSH, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, and related protocols; solid understanding of OSI and TCP/IP models, network security concepts, packet analysis, troubleshooting methodologies, and enterprise network architectures; experience diagnosing connectivity issues and integrating distributed systems across on-premises and cloud environments (highly desirable)
- Working knowledge of multiple security product categories highly desirable (SIEM, UEBA, CASB, VA, NGFW, ATD, PAM, EMM)
- Experience designing and shipping end-to-end AI solutions
- Team player with "get stuff done" approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
