As an Associate Scientist in Molecular Profiling, you will work in a fast-paced team alongside experienced scientists and interface closely with a multidisciplinary team of immunology, molecular biology, and bioinformatics experts. You will contribute to high-throughput profiling of clinical and experimental samples using single-cell multiomics, flow cytometry, and bulk RNA-seq.
Key responsibilities include:
- Augment molecular profiling efforts using single-cell library preparation, spatial profiling and processing (e.g., Akoya CODEX and Xenium), and flow cytometry
- Perform tissue sectioning and H&E staining to support spatial molecular profiling including Xenium
- Prepare high-quality tissue sections for tissue-based single-cell molecular assays (e.g., FFPEseq)
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely electronic records of all experiments using an information management system
- Document, compile, and assist with interpreting experimental data
- Work with supervisor to plan project requirements and timelines
- Operate and maintain automated laboratory equipment
- Prepare, order, and maintain stocks of necessary reagents, solutions, and supplies
- Actively participate in cross-functional team meetings and communicate effectively with lab, computational biology, and software teams

REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree or higher in Biology or related field (required)
- 2–4 years of experience in a research laboratory (required)
- Ability to work without supervision (required)
- Familiarity with molecular biology techniques and sterile techniques (required)
- Familiarity with single-cell multiomics and NGS library preparation (required)
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and innovation aptitude (required)
- Willingness to discover and learn new software and technology applications quickly (required)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task (required)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team (required)
