Alamar Biosciences is seeking an Associate Scientist I to join the Product Development team supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and ongoing product development efforts. The company develops innovative approaches to measure critical protein biomarkers from liquid samples, enabling early disease detection through highly multiplexed assays.
This is a hands-on laboratory role with a strong emphasis on verification and validation (V&V) studies, QC method development, and troubleshooting. Key responsibilities include:
• Execute V&V studies (precision, sensitivity, linearity, stability) following established protocols
• Support development, optimization, and validation of QC methods for raw material, in-process, and finished goods testing
• Troubleshoot technical challenges through root-cause analysis and implement corrective strategies
• Generate, document, and critically analyze experimental data using sound statistical practices to ensure accuracy, reproducibility, and traceability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development initiatives
• Maintain detailed laboratory records and contribute to regulatory documentation
The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Experience with bioassay development, protein analysis, or similar laboratory work is valuable. The role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to products that impact patient outcomes in clinical diagnostics.
