As an Associate Quality Engineer on the Quality Assurance and Release Engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring software quality across Veeva's life sciences products. You'll work in an Agile environment alongside software engineers, product managers, and QA testers to deliver reliable releases that drive customer success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating comprehensive testing documentation: test plans, test cases, scripts, and bug reports that assess quality and risk
- Developing and executing both functional and automation testing strategies
- Automating features and regression tests in collaboration with the automation team
- Triaging automation results and investigating failures
- Conducting QA testing and verifying outcomes within project timelines
- Building deep product expertise through hands-on testing and collaboration
- Working in short-release cycles with strong communication across cross-functional teams
You'll bring coding experience in Java and/or mobile languages, a solid understanding of QA methodologies and tools (black box and automated testing), and either a recent degree or relevant work experience in software development or test automation. Strong communication skills, curiosity, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies are essential.
Nice-to-have skills include SQL, Python, Atlassian tools (Jira, Greenhopper, Clover), mobile testing frameworks (Appium, XCUI, Espresso, KIF), and knowledge of modern software development best practices.
